Cuttin’ Sno* Grip!

We have arrived in Detroit, MI. Our first mission….to meet up with the team and get the xD ready for the snow! A huge thanks to everyone at Motovicity Distribution for letting us use their shop to prep the xD from the “showroom xD” that was at the North American International Auto Show, to “rally xD” for Sno*Drift, which starts Friday afternoon! Here is a picture of me cutting my tires up for the ice and snow conditions that will be ahead of me this weekend.

Atlanta, MI has snow, and lots of it. The ten day forecast calls for 8 days of snow!

IT’S OFFICIAL!!! PRESS RELEASE!

Current 2wd champion Chris Duplessis will be campaigning again in the upcoming 2wd championships in a newly built 2011 Scion xD.  The new team, officially the “Sparco Rally xD” will make it’s debut at the upcoming Rally America Snow Drift event in Atlanta, MI.  Currently the car is being displayed in Detroit at the coveted North American International Autoshow in the Scion Corporate Motors booth, then will make its way from the show floor to the service area of Snow Drift.  Last years experimental rally program saw the Rally xD in 2 events, the Oregon Trail Rally and New England Forest Rally; both resulting in 2 finishes and two 2nd place in class podiums.  Check out the team website for more information:  www.rallyxd.com
